Betty June Kemmer, 84, of Crossville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at Cumberland Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 7, 1935, in Crossville, daughter of the late Charles Hunter Bradbury and Gladys Florence (Bright) Bradbury.
Betty worked as a clerk for Sears, and was of the Baptist faith. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly by her family.
She is survived by her sons, Walter Edward Dodson III of Michigan, Charles Anthony Dodson of California, David Earl Dodson of Crossville and Jeffrey Lynn Dodson of Florida; grandchildren, Shanna Lowe, Ashley Reagan, Rachel Moorhead, Garrett Dodson, Keith Dodson and Jonathan Dodson; great-grandchildren, Adelaide Reagan, Joanna Moorhead, Hunter Moorhead, Natalie Dodson, Aaron Dodson, Brentley Dodson and Kinsley Dodson; and sisters, Doris Pharris and Harriet Coe, both of Crossville.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her two husbands, Walter Dodson Jr. and Keith Kemmer; sister, Bernice Osburn; brothers, Samuel Bradbury and Charles Bradbury; grandson, Jacob Dodson; and granddaughter, Shaylin Dodson.
Interment in Crossville City Cemetery.
