CROSSVILLE — Nov. 7, 1942—Dec. 9, 2013 Samuel Wayne Bradbury, 71, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 9, 2013, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home, Dec. 13, with Bro. Barry Kennedy officiating. Burial followed at Crossville City Cemetery, with full military honors provided by the Veterans Honor Guard. He was born Nov. 7, 1942, in Pleasant Hill, the son of Charles Hunter Bradbury and Gladys Florence (Bright) Bradbury. Mr. Bradbury worked in road construction and was a member of Main Street Church of Christ. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Della Ann (Stephens) Bradbury of Crossville; sons, Thomas Wayne Bradbury (Terr) of Dayton, OH, and Samuel Wayne Bradbury Jr. of Orlando, FL; sisters, Bernice May Osburn of North Carolina, Betty Kemmer, Doris Pharris and Harriett Coe, all of Crosville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles Hunter Bradbury; and brother, Charles Franklin Bradbury. Pallbearers were Pat Threet, Pat Threet Jr., Brett Pharris, Larry Smith, Russell Stephens and Eddie Dodson. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements
