Oct. 30, 1969 The Itawamba Co. Times. Vester Adams was buried Oct 12 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. He was 83. He died 9:00 p.m. in Eupora Hospital after suffering a sudden heart attack. He was a former Itawamban. He had lived in Eupora, MS for the past 40 years. He was a retired farmer. Funeral services were held at Mt. Vernon of which he had been a member for 50 years. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Rev. Eugene Digby officiating. He is survived by his wife Georgia Adams, four daughters, Mrs. E.S. Moore of Granada, Mrs. Howard Tindall of Eurpora, Vassie Oswalt of Kenosha, WI, Mrs. Verl Hood of Fulton, one brother Norman Adams of Fulton, 14 grandchildren , several great grandchildren.
