Louis M. Wollersheim (Photo), 68, of 723 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a coronary attack at home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion.
Mr. Wollersheim was born Nov. 11, 1896, at St. Nazianz, son of the late Mathias and Mary Kautzer Wollersheim. He married Sabina B. Koenig Oct. 12, 1921, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The couple moved to Manitowoc and owned and operated the Wollersheim photography studio until he retired in 1958. She died Nov. 22, 1964.
He was a World War I Army veteran, member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, Holy Name Society and Drews-Bleser American Legion Post 88.
Survivors are a daughter (private), a son (private), a brother, Joseph, of Valders and four grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
