George L. Bourcier, beloved husband, father, grandfather and son passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 70 years. Son of Elnor R. Bourcier and the late George M. Bourcier, George was born May 1, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Susan Wiggins on February 4, 1967. She survives him. George was employed at General Motors for 31 years retiring in October of 1996. He was an officer at Pulaski Club. George was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Surviving besides his wife Susan are one daughter and one son, Renee and John Konkle, Bay City; Kevin and Heather Bourcier, Freeland; three grandchildren, Brenda, Davis and Jayce; his mother, Elnor Bourcier, Saginaw; one brother, Jim and Karen Bourcier, Midland; one brother-in-law, Ned and Marilyn Wiggins, St. Charles; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Jeffrey Weenink will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.
