Bourcier, Mr. George M., Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Saturday, January 10, 2004 at The Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre. Age 88 years. Son of the late Louis and Marie (McCoy) Bourcier, George was born September 28, 1915 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Elnor Rita Tryniszewski on September 3, 1938. She survives him. George had been a salesman for many years retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Stephan Catholic Church, Charter member of Knights of Columbus Council #4232, and U.C.T. George enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving besides his wife Elnor are two sons, George and Susan Bourcier, Saginaw; James and Karen Bourcier, Midland; six grandchildren, Elizabeth and Michael Nicholson, Renee and John Konkle, Patrick Bourcier, Kevin and Nicole Bourcier, Daniel Bourcier, Jill and Shane Morris; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Ruth and Thomas Moore, Arizona; Joanne and Thomas Lowe, Saginaw; Barbara Shelton, Saginaw; a sister-in- law, Virginia Bourcier and several nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his step- mother, Bertha Bourcier and one brother, Joseph Bourcier. Mass of Christian burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at St. Stephan Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Patrick C. O'Connor will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.(between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. The Knights of Columbus Council #4232, led by Rev. Mr. Gerald Deneut, will pray the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Stephen Catholic Church.
