Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center. Age 97 years. Daughter of the late Chester and Lottie (Kwiatkowski) Tryniszewski. Elnor was born October 8, 1917 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to George M. Bourcier on September 3, 1938. He predeceased her January 10, 2004. Elnor had been employed by Fashion Outlet for 34 years retiring in 1989. She was a charter member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a member of the Jolly Seventeeners.
Surviving are one son and his wife, James and Karen Bourcier, Midland; her daughter-in-law, Susan Bourcier, Saginaw; six grandchildren, Elizabeth and Michael Nicholson, Renee Konkle, Patrick Bourcier, Kevin and Heather Bourcier, Daniel and Diana Bourcier, Jill and Shane Morris; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Bourcier and Joanne Lowe; several nieces and nephews. Elnor was preceded in death by her son, George Bourcier.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Steven M. Gavit will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Stephen Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
