Mr. Bevis lifelong resident of Lauderdale Co. He was retired from Robinson Scrap Metal.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Andrew Bevis and Lucy Maude Wellington Bevis and brother Billy Carl Bevis.
He is survived by his fiancee, Louise Greenwell, Florence, son Larry Bevis, Florence, grandchildren, Larry William Bevis, Tammy Carol Underwood, 2 great-grandchildren, Brandon Tyler Bevis and William Bevis, sisters Esther James and Frances Haddock both of Florence, Pride Bevis, Florence, James Bevis, Tuscumbia, and Owen Bevis, Cherokee.
Pallbearers will include Randall Bevis, Kenny, Joe, Larry Bevis, Jamie Underwood, Gary James, Royce James, and Billy Bevis.
