Milton Cook, 60, of Van died today in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
The retired miner was a lifelong resident of Van.
Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Violet Canterbury and Mrs. Lula Green of Uneeda, Mrs. Linda McCoy of Alcott, Mrs. Lena Bright of Cocoa, Fla., Laura and Marie Cook at home; sons, Lee of Alcott, Bruce, Lester, and Leon of Van, Lanty of Cocoa; sisters, Mrs. Bessie Hackney of Barrett, Mrs. Orvie Jackson of Florida, Mrs. Bertha Workman of Putman County; brother, Sam Cook of Bob White.
The body is at Curry Funeral Home.
