He grew up and attended school in the Huggins area. He remained on the family farm until 1984, when he sold to family and moved to Mountain Grove. He was a dairy and beef farmer most of his life.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was always prepared to go fishing, carrying a pole behind his pickup seat.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Howard B. Zirschky; and two sisters, Jeanetta Zirschky Pembrook and Thelma Zirschky Perkins.
Surviving is one sister, Velma Fay Zirschky Dean of Houston.
Services were June 2 at the Craig-Hurtt-Bradley Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Grove with the Rev. David Leighty officiating. Burial was in the Rock Springs Cemetery.
