The Virginia Citizen, January 12, 1900:

Miss Annie Chase, oldest daughter of Capt. Wm. T. Chase, deceased, died on last Friday night at the home of her brother, Frank S. Chaske (sic), near White Stone. Her remains were interred in old Christ Church cemetery Sunday afternoon amid a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. The burial services were performed by Rev. C. R. James, of this village.
