Lee E. Brody. 67 of 6407 Euclid Ave.; Hammond, died Sunday at home after a long illness. He was a retired railroader.
Surviving are his wife, Frances; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Leidecker, Oregon; Mrs. Irene Barr, Hammond; mother, Mrs. Harriet Brody, Valparaiso; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Corsbie, LaPorte; Mrs. Grace Bauer, Hobart; Mrs. Frances Bauer, Valparaiso; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Clarence J. Huber Funeral Home, 722 165th St., Hammond.
Mr. Brody was a retired employe of the Erie Railroad for which he had worked 47 years. He was a member of the Order of Railway Telegraphers, National Assn., Veterans Railroad Employes and the Christian Church of Hessville.
