MARTIN L. BRODY

Martin L. Brody, 62, died at 6 am this morning at Porter Memorial hospital where he was taken yesterday afternoon following a heart attack.
He was born Nov. 13, 1895 in Boone Grove, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Brody. He was a plumber by trade. During World War I, he served with the navy.
Surviving are his son, Martin L. Brody, Jr., of Cleveland; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Karl Bauer and Mrs. Martha Jackmore of Valparaiso; Mrs. Ethel Ingran of Michigan City and Mrs. Grace Bauer of Hobart and one brother, leland, of Hammond. One son, Robert, died in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at the LePell Funeral home Monday with the Rev. Charles Merrill Smith, First Methodist church, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

BRODY SERVICES
Funeral services for Martin L. Brody, 62, of this city, who died Saturday morning at Porter Memorial hospital following a heart attack Friday afternoon, were held Monday at LePell's Funeral home. The Rev. Charles Merrill Smith, of First Methodist church, delivered the sermon. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers, all nephews of the deceased, were Roland Bauer, Jimmy Bauer, Earle Odle, Wesley Berrier, Clark Berrier and Raymond D. Berrier.
In the obituary in Saturday's paper, in listing his parents' name, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Brody, the account failed to state that his mother, Mrs. Harriet E. Brody, of Valparaiso, survives. His father died July 4, 1937.
