F. D. BRODY, 69, DIES AT BOONE GROVE HOME

Franklin Dean Brody, age 69 years, died Monday at his home near Boone Grove, following an extended illness.
He was born on May 8, 1867, near Boone Grove, and had always resided in that vicinity.
On March 6, 1892, he was united in marriage to Harriet Fox. To this union were born ten children, four of whom preceded him in death.
Surviving are the widow, four daughters, Mrs. Martha Jackmore, Mrs. Ethel Odle, Mrs. Grace Bauer, and Mrs. Frances Bauer of Valparaiso; two sons, Leland Brody, of Hammond, and Martin Brody, of Valparaiso; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Celia Denny and Mrs. Leroy Ludington, of Boone Grove, besides a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at the LePell & Son funeral home on Monroe Street, Thursday afternoon.
