Richard J. Biese, Chicago, 45, passed away Saturday, May 6, 1989, at his home from cancer,.

He was born Dec. 11, 1943, in the town of Charleston, the son of Peter and Eleanore (Salm) Biese. He married Darlene Maciejewski on Aug. 29, 1964. He was a graduate of Chilton High School and attended Green Bay Business College. He had worked for Kowa American Company of New York and for the past seven years owned and operated Richard Biese Inc. of Chicago.

Survivors include his parents, Peter and Eleanore Biese, Chilton; a daughter, Richard (Tahnia) Ols, Stow, OH; three grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Gilbert (Dolores) Veit; Clarence (Caroline) Schneider, all of Chilton; Robert (Eleanore) Gebhart, Kiel; Donald (Betty) Hennings, Elkhart Lake; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Roman and Ruth Biese; Martin and Rogene Biese; Kenneth and Betty Biese, all of New Holstein; Clarence and Mary Biese; Floyd and Bernice Biese, all of Chilton.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice, and his twin brother, Robert.

The funeral services was held in Chicago with cremation following. A memorial Mass was held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton. His ashes were buried with his twin brother in St. Martin Cemetery, Charlestown.
