Ruby M. Bowell, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, found peace in heaven on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003.

She was born on Nov. 21, 1926, in Meyers Falls, Wash., to Iva and Milton Moore. She was united in marriage to Owen Bowell on Dec. 5, 1944.

She is survived by her husband, Owen of Luck; three daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Stalsberg of La Crosse, Sandy (Bill) Kizer of Hudson, and Marilyn (Dick) Shackett of Luck; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dave (Som) Moore of Wilson, Milton (Delores) Moore Jr. of Northwoods, N.D., and Eugene (Darlene) Moore of Wheeler; four sisters, Loretta Brown of Elmwood, Avis Glampe of Wilson, Lucille Decker of Menomonie, and Luberta (Dave) Bairstow of Amery; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Moore.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 4, 2003. Burial was in Reed Cemetery (aka: Oak Ridge Cemetery) near Hatchville.

Arrangements were made by Rowe Funeral Home in Luck.
