Eugene Everett Moore, age 75, of Menomonie, WI died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at his home.

He was born April 9, 1932 in the Town of Weston, Dunn Co., WI to Milton and Iva (Lemon) Moore. He was raised in the Weston area and graduated from Elmwood High School in 1951. Eugene then served in the U.S. Air Force in both Korea and Vietnam, retiring in 1972 as a Master Sgt.

After his military service, Eugene farmed and drove truck in Washington until moving to North Dakota in 1994. In 1997, they moved back to Menomonie.

Eugene enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid Brewer and Packer fan. He also loved to pick and sing with his family. Eugene's grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very dear to him and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Jerome Moore; two sisters Ruby Bowell and Loretta Brown; and a great-grandson Teagan Reed.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Steve Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Lower Weston Cemetery in the Town of Weston, Dunn Co., WI with military honors by the Menomonie Veterans Honor Guard. Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
