Mrs. Childers had been in poor health for a number of years, suffering from that dreaded disease, tuberculosis, her condition becoming critical about two weeks ago.
She is survived by her husband and several grown children.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and burial took place in Machpelah Cemetery.
