A native of Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Apperson and Ella Hill Childers and a member of the Disciples of Christ Church and the Col. George Nicholas Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are her husband, Paul Carrington Bedford, and two daughters, Miss Louise Childers Bedford and Mrs. Barbara Bedford Brand, all of Jeffersonville.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Monroe Grant at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Machpelah Cemetery. Casket bearers were Grover Carrington, Jack Carrington, Bill Bramblet, Robert H. Mercer, David Ishmael and Tom Lowry.
