I did try to put in the cemetery name and it did this silly thing. He is buried in the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, Santa Clara, California......James was born in the tiny town of Clarks Hill, Indiana at the West end of Pearl St. in a large house his father Patrick Casey built. He had many siblings, he attended the Catholic church here that his father and many other Irish emigrants had started. His father was the first in his line to come to the US. His mother following 10 years later.
The photo to the lower right was taken in rural Clarks Hill. James and a friend had taken two young ladies out for the photgraphing day.

James Patrick married Donna Belle Coyner who was born 4 Oct 1879 in Montgomery County, IN and she died 8 Jun 1863 San Jose, California. Thier children were Donna Bell Casey 4 Oct, 1904, Died 18 Jun, 1976 in San Leandro, Alameda, CA, Clara Lydia (Marcia Clora) born 14 Dec 1908, Frankfort, IN and Died 1978 in CA.
The following article from the Ogden Utah examiner: He recieved another advance in his newspaper career. He went to Ogden about 5 years ago and through prominence gained in business and political circles by four years in editorial business management of the Ogden Examiner as held as the reason for his rapid advancement. An important change in newspaper circles that presages the passing of an old order to partisan politics in Utah was revealed yesterday in the announcement that James P. Casey had accepted the position of general manager of the Herald Republican in Salt Lake City. He plans to completely re- organize that newspaper along broad business lines. This will call for less attention to partisan politics and more for personal politics.
Mr. Casey came to Ogden in May 1912 when he became editor of the Ogden examiner.
I know that this is not an obit, but tells of his life in which he was very influential.

James married Donie R. Caynen, 13 Nov 1902 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.
