Miss Mary Casey taught school at Clarks Hill for many years. Her students remember her as a no nonsense teacher, one who got the point across.She taught for almost 50 years. She never married.
I wanted to put her site on so she could be connected to her family. She came from an Irish Catholic famliy, her father being the first generation to come here to the US, her mother followed ten years later from Ireland. She was born in the huge house that her father built at the West end of Pearl St. It burned in 2017.
