Eugene loved to spend his time fishing. If you didn't see him fishing, he was at least talking about fishing. He married the love of his life, Jackie Mayon, in 1971 in Morgan City, Louisiana. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans helping other disabled American veterans. Eugene loved his family, extended family, and friends very dearly. He will be deeply missed.
Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Jackie (Mayon) Grant, of the home; his son, Eric James Grant, of Lead Hill, Arkansas; his daughter, Janel Lynn Grant, of Lead Hill, Arkansas; his brother, Odis Brooks, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and a host of many other loving family and friends.
Arrangements will be under the direction of Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.
