James Anthony Businelle, 47, a native of Berwick and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday at 5 p.m. at South Louisiana Medical Center in Houma.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am. in the Twin City chapel with burial in the Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Johnson Businelle of Thibodaux; three daughters, Denise B. Gibson of Morgan City, Nikki Businelle of Denton, Texas and Brandi Businelle of Thibodaux and seven sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Aucoin and Mrs. Wayne Hiles, both of Stephensville, Brenda Comeaux of Gibson, JoAnn Blanchard of Belle River and Dardinella Breaux, Theresa Lomeli and Mabel Businelle, all of Lake Charles. Other survivors include eight brothers, Ward Businelle Jr. of Patterson, Douglas Businelle and Jody Richard, both of Stephensville, Walter Businelle of Lake Charles, Kim Richard of Belle River, Gary Businelle, Sr. of Pierre Part, Kenneth Welch, Sr. of Covington and Eugene Grant of Arkansas and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
