Rose E. Dondero, 96, of Norwell, died May 12, 2006, at the Life Care Center of Scituate.
She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine Sullivan. Mrs. Dondero's father, a contractor in Taunton, built the rectory for St Mary Church, across from which he and his wife raised their 13 children.
Mrs. Dondero was a former resident of Taunton and East Bridgewater.Wife of the late Harold F. Dondero, she leaves her children, Virginia M. Dondero of Weymouth, Richard W. Dondero and his wife, Jean, of Norwell, Daniel J. Dondero and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Norwood and Harold "Harry" Dondero of Scituate; and a granddaughter, Catherine Dondero of Norwood. She was predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary Church in Taunton. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. Arrangements were handled by McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, Norwell.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
