Brenda McTague, 43, died June 17, 1995, of complications from asthma at Randolph County Medical Center in Pocahontas. She was on vacation.
Born March 23, 1952 in Missouri, daughter of James Franklin and Ellen "Geraldine" Ratliff Day.
Mrs. McTague and her husband, Thomas McTague, were active in many charitable groups in St. Louis. They worked for St. Raymond's Church and the Democractic Party in the 16th and 26th wards in St. Louis.
In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include a son, Roland Siller of Pochahontas; a daughter, Mary Ellen Fay Chilton of Columbia, Mo.; a brother, Robie Lee Day of Sullivan, Mo.; a sister, Linda Faye Day of Perryville, Mo.; and her grandparents, Robie and Ludie Ratliff of Pocahontas.
A funeral service for Brenda McTague of St. Louis was held Tuesday at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Ark. Burial was in Randolph Memorial Gardens in Pocahontas.
