FORMER SECRETARY BOARD OF HEALTH IS DEAD. Garnett, Kan., June 11 - Doctor Thomas Kirkpatrick died at 1 o'clock this afternoon of heart trouble, after a sickness of several months. He had practiced medicine in Garnett and Anderson County thirty-five years, was secretary of the state board of health during the administration of Governor Morrill, and a prominent Mason. His age was 58 years . He leaves a wife, three daughters and two sons.
Dr. Kirkpatrick was the son of Minor Kirpatrick and Hannah (Godfrey). Both being buried at McCormick Cemetery in Wapello County, Iowa.
