Mrs. Ione Lewis
Mrs. Ione Young Lewis, 53, of Jett, died at 2:45 a.m. today at King's Daughters' Hospital from a heart aliment.
A native of Minden, Louisiana where she was born June 8, 1916, she moved to Frankfort in 1945. For the past 13 years, she had been employed at the Statesman's Bar and Lounge, where she presently served as hostess. She was a member of the Crestwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Lewis; two sons, Henry Clarence and Charles Edward Lewis; a daughter, Miss Susan Bea Lewis, all of Frankfort; her mother, Mrs. Ora Bell Young, Minden, Louisiana; a brother and five sisters, all of Louisiana.
Ione's father is Henry Caleb Young. From his marriage to Ora Bell Spurlock the following siblings were born.
Mattie Mae, William Rance, Puellar, Ora Barnell, Auby Lucene, Coahron, O'Leta and Henry Caleb Young, Jr.
