Mr. Beach was a masonry contractor. He was a member of the Hyattstown United Methodist Church; Philanthropic Lodge 168, AF&AM, New Market; Frederick Scottish Rite Bodies; All Ghan Temple AAONMS,
Cumberland; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Frederick Forest 132; American Legion Post 171, Damascus, VFW Post 3285; BPO Elks 684; Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 371; Hyattstown Volunteer Fire Department
Mr. Beach served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Barbara J. Spring, Frederick, and Miss Deborah E. Beach, at home; one son-in-law, Dennis M. Spring, Frederick; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Mossburg of Poolesville, Mrs. Frances Merson of Wheaton, Mrs. Lillie Council of Poolesville and Mrs. Helen M.
Schwartzbeck of Rockville; four brothers, James Norman Beach of Poolesville, Thomas F. Beach of Rockville, Joseph L. Beach of Rockville and Allen M. Beach of Poolesville; and a number of nieces and nephews. One brother, John R. Beach, pre-deceased him.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday. Aug. 9. at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, Damascus. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the funeral home. The Rev. Lynn Cairns, Hyattstown United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Hyattsville Methodist Cemetery. Philanthropic Lodge 168. AF&AM of New Market will conduct memorial services at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9.
