EUGENE THIELEN
(1906 - 1971)

Eugene Thielen, 64, of Valders, died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a coronary attack.

Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Christianson Funeral Home, Valders, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clark Mills. The Rev. Gregory Putzer will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Thielen was born Oct. 11, 1906, at Manitowoc, son of the late Peter and Mary Koch Thielen. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. He had been employed at Voight Lumber Co., Valders. He had resided at Cato. Mr. Thielen was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Manitowoc and the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Church, Clark Mills. He was also a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two brothers, Lester, of Marinette and George, of Manitowoc, a sister, Mrs. Baldo (Marie) Pucci, of Los Angeles and nieces and nephews. A sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock this Monday afternoon where a Prayer service will be held at 8 o'clock by Father Putzer.
