Ethel T. Sweetman, 63, of 1924A. So. 13th Street, Milwaukee, died Wednesday afternoon, August 1, 1990 at the residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 4, 10:30 am at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Eugene Brochtrup with burial to follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born July 7, 1927 in Manitowoc, Wis., daughter of the late Paul and Eleanor Klindt Haselow. She married Charlese Rank on January 10, 1944 and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1960. She then married Eugene Sweetman on December 7, 1963 and the couple has resided in Milwaukee since 1968.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Sweetman of Milwaukee; four sons and daughters-in-law, Charles H. and Kris Rank of Shelton, Wash., John and Linda Rank of Manitowoc, Paul J. and Jill Rank of Manitowoc, Ronald and Judy Sweetman of Milwaukee; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Larry Marker of Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law, Caroline and Doug Handley of Hammond, Ind.; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters and one grandson. Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Saturday from 9 am to the time of service.
