MRS. LUCY WHITFIELD DIES

Mrs. Lucy Blanchard Whitfield died Monday afternoon at her home in Mobile.

She was the wife of Van Whitfield of Hancock county and was a native of New Orleans, but had resided the greater part of her life in Bay St. Louis.

The body was taken to McMahon-Coburn Undertaking Parlors, 2305 Canal street, New Orleans. Services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Armantine Trawick, New Orleans; Mrs. Eley (sic) Pence, New Orleans; Mrs. Edna McLeod, Mobile; four brothers, Martin Blanchard, Mobile; Joseph Blanchard, Bay St. Louis, MS; Jefferson Blanchard, New Orleans; and Oniziphore(sic) Blanchard, New Orleans; and Albert Blanchard, Mobile.
