Corinne and Andre Trawick became engaged and were secretly married in October 1924 at St. Ann Presbytery by Rev. Francis Badeaux. The only people who knew the secret were Corinne's mother and one sister.

On August 24, 1925 after almost a year of Andre only visiting his wife at her parent's home under the guise of being engaged. The Blanchard family received a telegram announcing the marriage for the benefit of Corinne's father and the rest of the family. The couple were on their delayed honeymoon.

Corinne died at Touro Infirmary the afternoon of August 7, 1936. They had been living at Edgelake, LA.
