She married Harold Tachick on April 2, 1949 in Pound. The couple operated a dairy farm in the Town of Beaver until retirement in 1994. She was a member of Section Eight Baptist Church in Pound, WI.
She is survived by three son: Ronald (Dawn) of Pound, WI; Gary (Lindy) of St. Ignatius, Montana and Brian (Rose) of Hoover, Alabama;
six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;
two brothers Henry Shevy of Crivitz, WI and Marvin Shevy of Pound, WI;
five sisters: Millie Shevy, Margaret Brux and Irene Shevy, all of Manitowoc, WI, Delores VanderLeest of Coleman, WI and Jane Minor of Tampa, FL.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold in February, 2006; a sister Phyllis Shevy and four brothers, Raymond, Robert, Alvin and Dennis Shevy.
Visitation and funeral services held at Section Eight Baptist Church in Pound, WI with burial in First Baptist Church in Pound, WI.
