He served in the United States Army for two years with one of those years in Korea. He worked at Graetz Mfg. Company for many years until retirement and enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
Surviving are six siblings: Margaret Brux, Millie Shevy and Irene Shevy, all of Manitowoc, WI; Marvin Shevy and Deloris VanderLeest, both of Pound, WI and Jane (Gayle) Minor of Tampa, FL.
He was preceded in death by four brothers: Raymond, Robert, Dennis and Alvin and two sisters: Edna Tachick and Phyllis Shevy.
Private services were held at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home In Coleman, WI. Interment in First Baptist Cemetery of Pound, WI.
