HEART ATTACK PROVES FATAL
Henry Markowski Dies Suddenly At His Home Here


Henry Markowski, 53, died suddenly at his home, 2010 Madison Street, at 9:30 this morning. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He had been ill for some time. He went for a walk this morning and upon returning home complained of feeling ill. He lay down to rest and died a few moments later.

Funeral services will be held Monday Morning at 8 o'clock from the home and at 8:30 from the St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. J.M. Pociecha officiating. Burial will be made in the St. Mary's cemetery.

Born In Chicago
Mr. Markowski was born June 17, 1883 in Chicago. He came to Manitowoc 33 years ago. A year later he was married to Miss Mary Novak, who survives him.

Other survivors besides the widow include two daughters, Mrs. Milton Levash and Miss Delores Markowski, both of Manitowoc; five sons, Joseph, Henry Jr., Leonard and Anthony of Manitowoc and Casimer of Two Rivers; a brother, Anton of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. William Kabat of Chicago and Mrs. Joseph Sobel and Mrs. Joseph Budysz, both of Manitowoc; and five grandchildren.

The body will be taken to the home at 6 o'clock this evening from the Leschke funeral parlors.
