MATHILDA MROTEK
(1862 - 1943)

Mrs. Mathilda Mrotek, 81, died at 5:45 a.m. today at her home, 1226 South 18th street. She had been ailing for a long time.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete awaiting word from a son, Francis, who is stationed in an army camp in Oregon. Rites probably will be held Tuesday at the St. Mary church. Interment will be int the St. Mary cemetery. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate at the funeral.

Mrs. Mrotek was born in the town of Newton, and 59 years ago married Paul Mrotek, who is now dead.

Eight children, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren survive. Daughters are Mrs. John Krzicike, Two Creeks, Mrs. Frank Drill, Mrs. Michael Buretta, Mrs. Albert Lishka and Mrs. Felix Zigmund, all of Manitowoc, three sons, Tracy B. and Edward of Manitowoc and Francis in Oregon. One brother Joseph lives in Newton.

The body will lie in state at the Leschke funeral home from 10 a.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda Mrotek, who died at her home, 1226 South 18th street, Saturday, will be held Tuesday morning, at 8:45 a.m. from the Leschke funeral home, and at 9 o'clock at the St. Mary Catholic church. Interment will be in the St. Mary cemetery.

The Rev. John Landowski, pastor of the church, will officiate at the requiem mass.
