AUSTIN A ROOF DIED AFTER LONG ILLNESS

He was one of the first rural mail carriers out of Titusville, serving old route No. 79. and a number of years ago while on his work of carrying the mail, his feet were frozen, necessitating the amputation of the members at about the knee. While carrying the mails he was one of the most faithful servants of both the people and the government which he ever served on that route.
