Mrs. Mabel L. Farrah, aged 55, wife of Claude H. Farrah of Route 1, Polk, died at 4:28 a.m. Friday at the Utica Rest Home, where she was a patient for two weeks. She had been ill for some time.
A daughter of the late Austin and Margaret Mars Roof, she was born at Gresham, Crawford county, Nov. 26, 1891. She spent her early life there and following her marriage lived in Venango county for more than 25 years. She was a member of Canal Grange at Utica and the Free Methodist church of North Sandy.
Besides the husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Homer Nicklin of Utica; two brothers, Carl F. Roof, Route 1, Titusville, and George Roof of Corry, and three sisters, Mrs. Tillie Root of Titusville, Mrs. D.P. Clark of Tecumseh, Mich., and Mrs. Clarence Adams of Polk. There are two grandchildren...
