WEST POINT-Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Luebbert, 83, of West Point died unexpectedly early this morning at St. Joseph's Home, West Point.
Mrs. Luebbert was born on January 5, 1898 in West Point where she had lived all her life. Born Elizabeth Hagedorn, she married John Luebbert on May 25, 1921, in St. Boniface Catholic Church, rural West Point. He died on December 6, 1971. Mrs. Luebbert was a member of St. Anthony's Christian Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Leo, Fred and Bernard, all of West Point; two daughters, Wilma (Paul) Gentrup, West Point, and Elsie (Marvin)Popken, Fremont; brothers, Anton, Casper and John Hagedorn, all of West Point; 25 grandchildren ; 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be in St. Mary's Catholic Church, West Point. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, rural West Point.
