She was married to Robert Wyatt Officer (1916-1991) and was a member of Glencliff Presbyterian Church.
Marie was 94 years old and a resident of Sparta, Tennessee when she passed away on January 2, 2014.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband and daughter Elizabeth Officer, she is survived by a married son; a married daughter; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Bohannon Chapel Cemetery.
