COMPTON, Mrs. Joe
Mrs. Joe Compton died at her home at Lock No. 2, Kavanaugh, KY, Thursday morning. She had been sick more than a year. She submitted to an operation at Riverview Hospital at Louisa, KY lats spring where she remained for 2 months. This gave her only temporary relief. The remains were interred at the beautiful cemetery at Kavanaugh Chapel, Buchanan Chapel Saturday morning. Mrs. Compton leaves, besides her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Burns Finney and 2 sons, Raymond, 18 and Homer, 16 years old. Many relatives from a distance attended the funeral.
