The little eight-months-old baby boy of Mr. Ed Grant of Jacksonport died at the home of the child's grandmother, Mrs. Florence Cathey, in that town, Friday night.
The mother of the baby died in California about a month ago and the remains brought home for burial at Robinson's graveyard, and the body of the little one was laid beside that of his mother this afternoon at four o'clock.
The father and three little children have the sympathy of many friends in their double affliction.
