Alfred E. Davis, 81, of Old Winchester Road, died Friday at his home. The funeral will be today at noon at Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green with the Rev. Malcolm Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Plevna. Mr. Davis was a native of Marshall County, a construction worker and a member of Oakley Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Allene Davis of New Market; two sons, Joe Davis and Ray Davis, both of New Market; two daughters, Virginia Spelce of Portage, Ind., and Anita Logan of Huntsville; three brothers, Horace Davis of Pulaski, Tenn., Wendell Davis of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Barnard Davis of Manchester, Tenn.; two sisters, Jean Jacks of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Mildred Hall of Elora, Tenn.; and 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Alfred E. Davis, 81, a resident of Old Winchester Road, New Market, Alabama, and a construction worker, died Friday (January 28, 2000). Funeral services were held Sunday at Gallant Funeral Home with interment in Miller Cemetery. Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
