Age 75, son of the late Alexander and Anna Barbara Duke Sabol.

Until his retirement in 1982, he was a machine operator at Kaiser Aluminum for 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Sabol was a member of St. George Roman Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Alex Sabol; a sister, Amelia Zamborski; and infant brothers and sisters, Susan, Michael, Martin and Adam Sabol.

Surviviors include his wife, Genevieve ''Jean" Homicz Sabol; four daughters, Patricia Santo of Erie, Mrs. Vern (Barbara) Proctor of Lordstown, Ohio, Mrs. Steven (Mary Jane) Cook and Kathleen Chabot, both of Erie; 10 grandchildren; four brothers, John and Albert Sabol of Erie, Joseph Sabol of Ramey, Pa., and Val Sabol of Lockport, N.Y.; five sisters, Mary Luksic of Ramey, Pa., Velma Ondo of Moshannon, Pa., Mrs. John (Catherine) Aprich of Nanty-Glo, Pa., Mrs. Chet (Ann) Jaworek of Kenmore, N.Y., and Cecelia Sabol of Erie.

Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
