Son of the late Alexander and Anna Duke Sabol. Al was a World War II veteran, serving with the 25th Infantry Division in the South Pacific. He was employed as a group leader at AMSCO for 38 yrs., retiring in 1983. He was longtime active member of Holy Family Church and its Usher Society and a member of the Quarter Century Club at AMSCO.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline E. Walach Sabol, a daughter, Paula Sabol Behan, brothers, Alex, Anthony, Michael, Martin, Adam, Joseph and John Sabol, sisters, Susan Sabol, Amelia R. Zamborsky, Mary Luksic and Catherine Ciprich.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Susan Marchini; two sons, A. Thomas Sabol and James E. Sabol; one brother, Valentine "Val" Sabol; three sisters, Cecilia Sabol and Anna Jaworek; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
