Jerome W. Csida, age 64, of 24 North Columbia Street, Chilton, died on Thursday, August 30, at home.
He was born February 24, 1926, in the Town of Schleswig, son of the late Isadore and Anna (Konz) Csida.
He was married to Ruth Karstaedt on November 3, 1951, at Zion Lutheran Church in Louis Corners.
He had worked for Reiss Coal Company in Manitowoc for many years and for the Ariens Company in Billion for 18 years until retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Chilton Eagles No. 1288.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Randy Welch of Tucson, Arizona; a son, Jason, at home; three grandchildren, Clayton, Natalie and Travis Welch; one brother, Henry of Sheboygan; four sisters, Anna Juenne of Sheboygan; Alouise and Archie Brocker of Kiel; Rose Bratz of Manitowoc; and Sylvia Sohn of New Holstein. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey in 1971, also one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were Sunday at the Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton with the Rev. Quinten Moeschberger officiating. Burial was in St. James Cemetery in Reedsville.
