Gertrude M. Knier, 75, of St. Nazianz, died Saturday afternoon, December 21, at Sunnyridge Nursing Home, Sheboygan. Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Rev. Cletus LaMere will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Knier was born April 10, 1910 at Sheboygan, daughter of the late Isadore and Anna Konz Csida. She attended Sheboygan area schools. She married Joseph Knier on June 30, 1931 at St. Nazianz. Mrs. Knier was a member of St. Gregory Christian Mothers.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roman and Dolores Knier of Green Bay and Kenneth and Arlene Knier of Sheboygan; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Bill Pankratz of Sussex, Wisconsin; two brothers, Henry Csida of Sheboygan and Jerome Csida of Chilton; four sisters, Mrs. Anne Kuene of Sheboygan, Mrs. Archie Brocker of Kiel, Mrs. Rose Bratz of Manitowoc and Mrs. Harold Sohn of New Holstein; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survived. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, from 10 am Tuesday until the hour of service. There will be no Monday evening visitation at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home of Valders.
