"Josephine Anderson, wife of H Clark Jackson died at her home at Tyler Hill, Pa., Tuesday, Oct 30 1923, after being in feeble health for several years.
The funeral service was held at the Damascus Methodist Church Saturday afternoon and interment was made in the Damascus Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband and the following children: Harry at home; Roy E of Alabama, a veterianary surgeon; Mrs Allen Smithers of Monticello, NY and Mrs Palmer Kellam of Lookout, PA.
Mrs Jackson was the last of the well known family of Joseph Anderson, who settled in the Beechwoods in 1843. The brothers and sisters who have passed on before here wee Judge Isaac Anderson of Jeffersonville, NY; Capt John F Anderson of Callicoon, Supervisor George H Anderson of Hankins, merchant Osmer B Anderson of North Branch, Ezekiel E Anderson of Lierty, Mrs John Schindler Sr of Middletown and Mrs Joseph Layman of Beechwoods."
