Mrs. Emma Affeldt, 81, of 4 N. Catlin, Edgerton, died Friday in Edgerton Hospital Long Term Care Facility.
She was born March 5, 1902, in Edgerton. A retired music teacher, she taught in Rock County schools, at Great Lakes, Ill., and in Florida.
She married A. W. Affeldt on April 5, 1944, at Libertyville, Ill. He died in 1975.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Joan Dongarra of Whitefish Bay; two stepsons, William Affeldt of Belvidere, Ill., and Robert Affeldt of Whitefish Bay; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vera Farrington and Jeanette Kleimenhagen, both of Edgerton.
Services will be at 8 p.m. today in Bruni-Nygaard-Ward Funeral Home, with burial in Fassett Cemetery.
