Mrs. Treichel was born September 22, 1895 in the Town of Maple Grove, daughter of the late Herman and Mathilda Berkholz Maertz. She married Anton Engelbrecht in 1914 and he preceded her in death in 1918. She then married John Treichel in 1922 and he preceded her in death in 1958.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert and Alberta Engelbrecht of Reedsville and Norbert and LaVerne Treichel of Reedsville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Louis and Lucille Wicke of Suring and Edwin and LaVerne Bailek of Manitowoc; two step-daughters, Mrs. Mike Cummings of Reedsville and Mrs. Helmuth Rusch of New Holstein; a brother, Mr. Ervin Maertz of Reedsville; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Maertz of Reedsville; a brother-in-law, Mr. Alvin Broehm of Chilton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survived. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a step son.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home, 4 pm to 9 pm Friday afternoon and Saturday at the church from noon until the hour of service.

young people of Reedsville, took place Saturday, the Rev. Sauer
officiating. A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Engelbrecht. The couple will make their
home here where Mr. Treichel is employed as a cheesemaker.
